Merchandising & Graphics Specialist

LEPCO is on the hunt for a dynamic, well-rounded Merchandising & Graphics Specialist who thrives at the intersection of creativity and strategy. If you’re equally comfortable designing eye-catching visuals, analyzing retail performance, and maintaining meticulous records to keep every detail organized, this role is for you. You’ll play a key part in supporting our network of over 1,000 retail partners across multiple brands—bringing both artistic flair and analytical precision to every project.

Position Summary

This position manages merchandising programs, sales literature, and point-of-purchase (POP) distribution for nearly 1,000 dealers across the New England and Mid-Atlantic region. It also serves as the graphics coordinator—sourcing creative assets or producing custom artwork for advertising, signage, and events. Acting as a central contact for dealers, manufacturers, agencies, and internal teams, this role includes up to 15% travel.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves a wide range of responsibilities across merchandising, inventory management and customer support. A full overview of duties will be discussed during the interview process.

Merchandising & Display Management

  • Own the end-to-end merchandising strategy for independent retailers, from inventory planning and budgeting to display implementation and order fulfillment.
  • Lead annual POP planning, ensuring assets align with brand and sales priorities.
  • Maintain POP, sales literature, and promotional inventory across brands.
  • Develop strong relationships with dealers and sales reps through retail visits and support.
  • Oversee display contracts, pricing updates, showroom installations, and replacement parts.

Graphics & Creative Support

  • Manage brand and dealer logo libraries and all approved creative assets.
  • Design or source visuals for events, signage, POP, and advertising.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors, printers, and agencies for production and delivery.
  • Maintain LEPCO brand templates and support internal branding initiatives (business cards, swag, etc.).

Visual Merchandising

  • Research retail and merchandising trends to strengthen dealer programs.
  • Educate retail partners on in-store presentation best practices.
  • Support new dealer onboarding with displays, signage, and literature.

Administrative & Budget Oversight

  • Track merchandising and POP budgets, dealer invoicing, and co-op submissions.
  • Maintain detailed records across multiple brands, programs, and campaigns.

Training Room & Demo Trailers

  • Manage product displays, literature, and signage accuracy in training rooms and demo trailers.
  • Coordinate trailer wrap updates and installation logistics with vendors.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate across departments to support marketing, HR, and operations initiatives.
  • Uphold company safety and communication standards.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong ability to create and execute retail merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
  • Expertise in display execution, inventory management, and brand consistency.
  • Proficient in analyzing sales and market data to inform strategy.
  • Intermediate graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro); familiarity with Canva and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Team-oriented with a positive, proactive approach.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in merchandising, visual merchandising, marketing, or design.
  • Equivalent education and experience combinations will be considered.

Additional Details

  • Travel: Up to 15%, primarily between Maine and Virginia.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. for display setup.
  • Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, with occasional extended hours as needed.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $58,000.00 per year
